Graphic elements

The lines of the court, the curve of the tennis ball – use bespoke graphic elements to weave in a sense of movement and energy. Add layers of depth and texture with dynamic patterns and playful illlustrations that communicate the energised spirit of the AO.

Patterns theory

Derived from the angles and curves of our Core Logo, bespoke patterns offer great depth and flexibility within our design systems – use them to pull focus, add depth and evoke emotion.

Forward Slash

The forward slash (a diagonal crop of the 'A' in AO) is powerful and dynamic. The angle of an overhead smash, the lines of the court, the player in action.

Half-Circle

The half-circle (a horizontal crop of the 'O' in AO) references a Happy Slam smile, ripples of impact from a tennis ball, spotlight on action.

Application

These additional elements offer a fresh, exciting and nuanced application of our Core Logo, while still maintaining a clear visual connection between them.

Icons

Icons are a quick way to communicate visually. They should be instantly recognisable for our global audience.
